Campground opens Friday, August 6 at 1pm and goes until Sunday morning. The Festival will happen shine or rain, both stages are weather protected. PLEASE CARPOOL - PARKING IS LIMITED!

No dogs, nitrous or hard drugs. We simply will not put up with it and we are too intimate a festival to not have it affect on others good time. Special security efforts will be made.

There will be no camping with your vehicle (except for RVs - no hookups), but you will be parked as close to your desired campsite (regular, or quiet) as possible. You will not have a long haul from your car to your campsite; no bus or hauling your shit far. Campgrounds will have communal firepits and free firewood, personal fires not permitted unless in an off the ground container or barbeque.

WE WILL HAVE A SEPARATE PARKING AREA FOR RV’S AND BUSES FOR THOSE THAT WANT TO SLEEP IN THEIR VEHICLES THIS YEAR FOR THE PRICE OF $20 AT THE GATE (EXTRA CHARGE TO COVER PORT-O’S, SECURITY AND CLEANUP OF OTHER CAMPGROUND).

Hot & Cold Food and Beverage concessions on site including healthy food alternatives w/ vegan options. Clean potable deep-well water from on site and plenty of bathrooms will be available. Professional security and a medic tent will be available on site to assist you and ensure the event runs smoothly. There will also be kid’s activities, a late-night party at the tent stage, and much more.

NEKMF Friday afternoon 180

NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC AFTER STAGES CLOSE - WE PROMISE! Our stages run until as late as 3:00 AM and after that acoustic-only quiet hours will be enforced until stages open Saturday or event ends Sunday morning.

If you’re under 21 don’t even think about bringing alcohol in. Underage drinking will not be tolerated and will be dealt with accordingly. State Liquour control officers may be on-site to enforce underage drinking laws. Apologies to our Canadian friends whose more enlightened country allows them to drink at 18…we are not so lucky!

IF YOU ARE OVER 21 YOU ARE PERMITTED TO BRING ALCOHOL INTO THE FESTIVAL. YOU MUST HAVE PROPER ID (LICENSE OR PASSPORT) TO BE PERMITTED TO DRINK ON FESTIVAL GROUNDS. VEHICLES MAY BE SEARCHED IF OCCUPANTS ARE UNDERAGE WITHOUT AN ADULT FOR ALCOHOL. WE ALSO SEARCH FOR PEOPLE TRYING TO GET IN BY HIDING IN A VEHICLE, BUT DON’T WORRY ABOUT THE OTHER STUFF AS WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR IT.

THERE IS NO ATM OR CREDIT CARD ABILITY ON SITE - Please stop at an ATM on the way in Hardwick or Barton and come prepared.

WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO LIMIT IN AND OUT TO : (Saturday, 9AM to 12 Noon, if at all possible - you can leave, but we discourage it to keep the locals from having lots of traffic on their normally quiet roads).  If you want to come and go, please park on the roadside and come through the festival gates on foot.   Come prepared to camp and be prepared for the entire duration if you intend to stay. Purchase supplies before your journey. The Lake Parker Country Store is near the festival site, but this is a rural area so stop in Barton, Hardwick or Craftsbury. State police DUI units may be in the area both Friday and Saturday night, so please, heed our warnings to stay, especially if you’re planning on drinking. IF YOU NEED TO LEAVE AND COME BACK, YOU CAN, BUT WE REALLY NEED TO KEEP OUR IMPACT ON THE KINGDOM ROADS TO A MINIMUM, SO PLEASE TRY TO HELP US OUT HERE.

Please Bring For the Weekend:

* Camping equipment - a tent, a lantern or flashlight, a sleeping bag, etc.
* Clothes - We recommend that you prepare for hot and cold weather. There is a chance that it will be chilly at The Chilly Ranch, so come prepared.
* Essentials - BOOTS (in case of wetness), sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, etc.
* Rain gear - a waterproof jacket (w/ hood), an extra pair of shoes, items to cope with the sun, etc.
* Safety equipment - a luggage lock for your tent, a flag or balloon to identify your campsite, extra batteries, extra toilet paper (just in case), an extra set of keys for your car, etc.
* For memory’s sake - camera, pen and paper, etc.
* Other items of importance - a plastic container for water, plastic bags for trash, ear plugs, and of course plenty o’ good vibes (an item you don’t even have to purchase!).
* PLENTY OF WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DRINK OR EAT.

DO NOT Bring: fireworks, weapons, graffiti items, dogs, hard drugs or mean-spirited attitudes (you know who you are, and so do we!)

No walk up guest list.

Do-It-Yourself: A lot of people like the idea of setting up DIY independent sound systems. We respect this but NEKMF does not allow these. The event is simply too intimate to have them not interfere with our guests’ overall enjoyment. Thank you for respecting this.
